How to renew a .pk domain when you don’t have the PKNIC account credentials

If you’ve lost access to your PKNIC account but still want to renew your .pk domain, don’t worry — PKNIC allows anyone to pay the renewal fee on behalf of the actual domain owner using Prepaid Cards. This means you can complete the renewal process without logging into the original account.

Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the PKNIC Website

Go to https://pknic.net.pk/.

Step 2: Navigate to “My Account”

On the homepage, click My Account.

Step 3: Go to the Billing Section

Step 4: Select “Pay Domains”

In the left-hand menu, find Pay Domains…
Click to expand it.
From the dropdown options, select Directly Using Prepaid.

Step 5: Enter Domain and Card Details

You will now see the Prepaid Card Payment form:

Domain Name → type your domain
Prepaid Card → enter the prepaid card code
PIN No. → enter the PIN provided with the card

Important Note: Paying for the renewal does not transfer ownership of the domain. It only extends the validity on behalf of the actual domain owner.

Step 6: Confirm and Renew

Click Renew This Domain
Once successful, your domain will be renewed, and a confirmation will appear.
