How to Configure POP3/IMAP Account on Your iOS Devices.

To set up your Pop3/Imap  account, follow the instructions given below.


Step 1: Go to the Settings on your iPhone. 


Step 2: After go the Settings, a menu will show on your device. Tap the password & Accounts icon.


Step 3: Tap on “Add Account”


Step 4: In the “Other” menu screen 


Step 4: Tap on 'Add Mail Account"


Step 5: Now your device will redirect you to the “New Account”


Step 6: 

  • Name –  that you want to use for your  email account.
  • Email – the Email address of your Pop3/Imap Email account.
  • Password – the password for your Email account.
  • Description – That can be any text.

Step 7: Then tap the Next.


Step 8: Another screen will appear asking you to select IMAP or POP. Select the IMAP


Step 9:  Enter your incoming mail server details in the field provided.


  • Host Name- your Email account domain.
  • User Name- the Email address you want to link to your device.
  • Password – the password for your  Email account that you have entered.

Step 10: Enter your incoming mail server details.


Step 11: Tap on the “Save” option to finish the  Email account setup on your Iphone.
